Natasha & Oliver’s Beautiful May Wedding Celebration

For Natasha and Oliver, their gorgeous May wedding was simply a dream come true. With the sun shining brightly and loved ones gathered around them, it was a truly wonderful day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING

The day began in the Pamper Room, where Natasha and her bridesmaids arrived from 9am to begin their preparations. With the sun already shining brightly, excitement filled the air as the bridal party relaxed and enjoyed every moment of the morning. The bridesmaids looked fabulous in matching hot pink pyjamas, while Natasha stood out beautifully in white. Talented makeup artist Jessica Silvner and the team from Jen Hair HQ worked their magic, creating flawless looks for the celebrations ahead.

Making the most of the glorious sunshine, the bridesmaids spent time exploring the beautiful grounds, posing for photographs and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Even the resident sheep came over to say hello, adding a charming touch to the morning. As they sipped pink fizz and shared laughter together, anticipation grew for the special day that lay ahead.

Later, the bridesmaids changed into elegant black dresses, creating a striking contrast to Natasha’s breathtaking bridal gown. In the Honeymoon Suite, Natasha stepped into the most gorgeous white dress, complete with delicate sleeves, a beautiful bow at the back, a sweeping train, and a stunning veil. Surrounded by her closest friends, she made the final preparations before the Bedeken, looking every bit the radiant bride as she readied herself for the celebrations to come.

Meanwhile, Oliver was also preparing for the Tisch followed by the Bedeken, spending time getting ready and capturing some photographs to calm his nerves!

Meanwhile, guests gathered eagerly awaiting the ceremony, catching up with family and friends, old and new, while enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and excitement of the day.

THE TISCH

Meanwhile, in The Old Stableyard Restaurant, Oliver gathered with his family, friends, the Rabbi and other male guests to take part in the traditional Tisch. The atmosphere was warm and joyful as guests shared whiskey, conversation, and laughter while celebrating together before the ceremony.

One of the most significant moments of the Tisch is the reading of the Ketubah, the Jewish marriage certificate. The Rabbi read through the document, often accompanied by cheers and encouragement from those gathered. This important tradition ensures that the groom understands his obligations and responsibilities as a Jewish husband. Oliver then signed the Ketubah alongside a witness, marking a meaningful step before the wedding ceremony.

Throughout the gathering, guests joined together in spirited Hebrew songs and traditional chanting, creating an uplifting and celebratory atmosphere. The sound of voices raised in song echoed around the Stableyard as family and friends embraced the rich traditions of the occasion, building anticipation for the moments still to come.

BEDEKEN

A small group of guests made their way to the Honeymoon Suite for the Bedeken, a cherished Jewish tradition in which the groom lifts the veil over the bride’s face before the ceremony. Natasha and Oliver shared an intimate first look, surrounded by a handful of their closest family and friends, making it a truly beautiful and emotional moment. Following the veiling, the couple’s close family members and the Rabbi offered prayers and blessings for their future together. It was a wonderfully heartfelt occasion, filled with love, tradition, and joy.

THE CHUPPAH CEREMONY BEGINS

Facing a magnificent tree, more than 200 of the couple’s family and friends gathered for Natasha and Oliver’s beautiful wedding ceremony. The setting was stunning, with Verdure decorating the aisle alongside a white aisle carpet. Clouds of flowers in cream, white and soft green adorned the chuppah and stage, while guitars stood ready for the live music. With the sun shining overhead, the atmosphere was simply magical.

The procession began with Oliver making his way down the aisle accompanied by his parents, followed by his siblings, nieces, nephews and flower girls. Natasha then arrived with her mother and made her way to the chuppah, where Oliver’s parents welcomed her. In keeping with tradition, Natasha circled Oliver beneath the chuppah before the ceremony began.

Music throughout the ceremony was provided by Totem, a wonderful eight-piece band accompanied by gospel singers. The ceremony itself was led by the Rabbi and was filled with warmth, love and meaning.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds were greeted by their closest family and friends before taking a few moments for Yichud, allowing Natasha and Oliver to spend some private time together. During this time, the Rabbi and witnesses completed the signing of the Ketubah, officially declaring them husband and wife.

DRINKS RECEPTION

The drinks reception soon got underway, with guests making the most of the gorgeous surroundings. Guests enjoyed a delicious shawarma station while catching up with friends old and new, and entertainment was in full swing throughout the afternoon. Live artist Liam Dickson captured the chuppah in intricate detail, creating a wonderful keepsake for Natasha and Oliver to admire later, while Mr Lavin the magician, amazed guests with mind-blowing tricks and plenty of laughter. Totem also performed throughout, keeping guests entertained.

DINING BEGINS

The dining room looked absolutely stunning, with silver chairs, black linen and matching black napkins creating an elegant and contemporary feel. Gorgeous purple lighting filled the space, while Verdure transformed the room with beautiful floral centrepieces and candlelight. Four of the guest tables were made even more spectacular with chandeliers suspended above them, adding an extra touch of luxury. A white dance floor took centre stage, with the stage itself carpeted in white and illuminated with LED lighting, all set and ready for the evening’s entertainment, all provided by Hipswing. At the front of the room sat Natasha and Oliver’s top table, perfectly positioned to enjoy every moment of the celebrations.

It was then time to welcome Natasha and Oliver into the room, followed shortly by the most incredible Israeli dancing. The atmosphere was electric as family and friends gathered around the couple, celebrating with energy, joy and excitement.

Natasha’s mum, Debbie, officially kicked off the celebrations with a heartfelt welcome speech, followed by a touching video of her late husband singing. There was hardly a dry eye in the room as the band joined in and Natasha’s nephew began to sing, creating one of the most emotional moments of the entire day.

Before the meal began, guests joined in the Hamotzi, the traditional Jewish blessing over bread which serves as a blessing for the meal. Starters were then served, accompanied by more dancing and celebrations. Throughout the wedding breakfast, heartfelt toasts were shared by siblings, while best women Natalie and Hailey delivered wonderful speeches filled with laughter, love and stories of the happy couple.

Once the main course had been enjoyed and cleared away, the gospel singers took to the stage for an incredible performance that had guests captivated from beginning to end. The celebrations continued with a speech from the best man before Oliver took to the microphone to share a few words of his own. More dancing followed before dessert was served.

The evening then moved into Benching and the Sheva Brachot, an important and meaningful part of a Jewish wedding celebration. One cup of wine was poured for the guest leading the Benching, while a second cup was used for the Sheva Brachot. Following the completion of the Benching, different honoured guests each took turns holding the second cup and reciting the first six blessings. The final, seventh blessing was then chanted over the wine by the guest who had led the Benching, bringing this special part of the celebration to a beautiful close.

EVENING PARTY

Then it was time to continue the evening celebrations, with Natasha and Oliver taking to the dance floor for their beautiful first dance, followed by plenty more dancing with family and friends. Before they knew it, it was time for the final dance of the evening, bringing an end to the most incredible day.

With the sun beginning to set, Natasha and Oliver captured some truly beautiful golden-hour photographs before taking a moment to admire the incredible live artwork of their Chuppah, a stunning keepsake that perfectly reflected such a special part of their day.
