PLANNING THEIR DREAM WEDDING
For Chloe and Vinny, an August wedding was everything they had dreamed of. With a glorious summer’s day, a romantic outdoor ceremony and golden sunset moments captured forever, it truly couldn’t have been more perfect.
The pamper room was perfectly set for Chloe and her bridal party, with the doors opened wide to reveal stunning countryside views. As Prosecco was popped and the morning preparations began, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. By 9am, hair and makeup were well underway, with sunlight streaming in and offering a glimpse of the simply stunning day ahead. Makeup by Danielle Barlow and hair styling by David Anthony Hairdressing were on hand to get the lovely ladies glammed up for the day ahead!
Soft sage-green dressing gowns set the tone, hinting at the elegant colour palette to come. There was laughter, a few happy tears and perhaps a touch of nervous excitement in the air. After hair and makeup worked their magic, the bridesmaids put on their pale green dresses, perfectly complementing the rustic, outdoor summer theme.
Meanwhile, Vinny and his groomsmen were soaking up the sunshine, enjoying a glass of whiskey and making the most of the relaxed morning. Dressed sharply in classic black suits, they looked effortlessly stylish, while Vinny stood out in a smart navy suit. The group headed out onto the North Lawn for a few photos, capturing those laid-back moments before the ceremony.
Before long, it was nearly time for Chloe to walk down the aisle. She looked stunning in her off-the-shoulder gown, delicately adorned with floral details. A heartfelt and emotional reveal with her both her mum dad followed, before she made her way outside, ready to begin the next chapter of her life!
OUTDOOR CEREMONY ON THE LAWN
The sun was shining, spirits were high and the vibes were immaculate as everyone gathered outdoors on the North Lawn to celebrate the happy couple tying the knot. At 2pm, they made the most of the beautiful August summer day with an outdoor ceremony on the lawn that felt so perfectly them – relaxed, joyful and full of love.
The bridesmaids led the way before Chloe made her entrance with her dad, looking absolutely stunning as she walked towards Vinny, who was waiting with the biggest smile. There was such a warm and happy atmosphere as their closest family and friends watched them begin their next chapter together.
Set on the lawn with our iconic sycamore tree standing proudly in the background, they exchanged their vows surrounded by breathtaking views across Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Derbyshire. It was a setting as special as the moment itself.
The décor was elegant and understated, with The Flower House creating beautiful milk churn displays and bouquets filled with fresh blooms. Soft greens, whites, and creams, with delicate hints of pink roses, added a timeless, romantic touch that perfectly suited the day.
Gorgeous group shots followed, with the happy couple greeting their guests as newlyweds with beaming smiles and completely lost in the joy of the moment. You could feel just how in love they were as everyone celebrated around them.
Then the drinks reception got underway, with chilled Prosecco and Aperol Spritz flowing in the sunshine, making the whole afternoon feel even more magical.
The newlyweds then took a few moments with Jon Thorne Photography in our private water gardens, where vibrant pink, green and purple tones created the dreamiest backdrop for their portraits!
One of our favourite shots was by the entrance beneath our iconic sycamore tree – the perfect image to capture that classic barn wedding charm. Laura Garwood Videography captured the whole day, all the little authentic moments, which made for a stunning video!
DINING IN STYLE
Then it was time for the dining room reveal and it looked incredible! Silver chairs, ivory linens, and beautiful floral centrepieces dressed each table, while limoncello and chocolate favours added a personalised touch. Rustic log risers, floating candles, and soft green lighting created a warm, elegant atmosphere with a lovely nod to the surrounding countryside. The milk churns stood proudly either side of the banana-shaped top table – a brilliant feature and the perfect tribute to the venue’s working farm roots.
Next came the speeches, starting with Chloe’s dad and Vinny (a great way to calm the nerves first!). There were plenty of laughs, heartfelt moments and happy tears as the room was filled with love. Guests then enjoyed sharing platters for the wedding breakfast – the perfect choice for such a warm, family-style celebration. Afterwards, the maid of honour, bridesmaids and best men rounded off the speeches in style.
Then Chloe and Vinny cut their beautiful three-tier cake by Cherry Blossom Bakery, before it was finally time to get the party truly started.
ENTERTAINING EVENING RECEPTION
By 7pm, the real party had begun and what a celebration it was. After the couple’s unforgettable first dance, the evening burst into life. With DJ Tom Finkill on the decks, the dancefloor quickly filled and the party was in full swing, with guests dancing, singing, and celebrating late into the night. The photos beautifully capture the vibrant array of colours from the guests’ outfits, perfectly reflecting the bright and joyful theme of the day. The couple were even decorated with ribbons, another nod to the colourful celebration before them!
As the sun began to set, Chloe and Vinny took a quiet moment to wander the stunning grounds of the North Lawn, making the most of that golden August hour. The result was simply breathtaking photographs, along with a few precious moments to pause and reflect on their incredible day. Evening food by Stableyard Catering kept everyone fuelled and ready to dance the night away.
