How to book your wedding with Heaton House Farm

by Olivia • December 17, 2023 • Wedding Planning Guides

To book a wedding date with us, you first have to come along and see the venue, we love to meet our couples, and tell you all about how our venue can work to match your plans and aspirations for your wedding day.

We know that when you come to view, you will probably have lots of follow-up questions, and hopefully, our FAQs hub will give you lots of the answers you seek. But what happens now?

Step 1: Provisionally Book Your Date

Congratulations on finding your dream wedding venue! Choose your special date from our availability calendars, then email or call our team to provisionally pencil your name on the calendar.

We hold provisional dates for 7 days, this is to give you time to contact the registrars, celebrant or your church to check if they have your date available, look into wedding insurance or maybe you’d like to visit us again with family or friends to help you to make that all-important decision.

Step 2: Ready to confirm?

So, you have your ceremony booked in with the registrars/celebrant/church, and you’re ready to confirm our venue. We require a refundable £500.00 deposit (returned to you following your special day subject to no damage or loss to the venue) and you must both sign our terms and conditions (be sure to have a good read-through to ensure you’re happy with everything before signing the dotted line!)

Our terms and conditions are in PDF format, which you can sign online and send a copy back to us. Here’s a helpful guide on how to sign a PDF.

Step 3: Get Planning!

Once we’ve received your deposit and Terms & Conditions, you’ll receive lots of information from us to begin your wedding planning. We send a wedding planner document for you to fill in, invite you to the next Experience Event to meet some of our recommended suppliers, and if you’d like our help, invite you to have a planning meeting with one of our very experienced Wedding Coordinators.

Our main advice, enjoy every stage of planning your special day, and we’ll be here every step of the way!
