On Thursday 10th March we held our first client experience evening for 2016 and welcomed over 400 guests! Couples, family members and friends all joined together to meet suppliers, the award-winning Heaton House Events team and see the venue lit up under the stars. Each Experience Evening we host, we rotate our suppliers so couples have the opportunity to see lots of different ideas and tick off boxes on their wedding planning to-do lists.
The welcoming gas flambeaux and chandeliers over the top table were provided by Lightech. Also in the Oak Beamed Entrance Barn Love Lights the Way provided 6ft Love Letters which caught the eye of many of the couples that attended. Guests were also able to collect a scrumptious ice cream from Vitalianos Ice Cream trike and have a quick snap in LS Photobooth.
In our Bridal preparation room Dollface Make-up returned giving more make-up advice and trials for brides alongside Glorious Tiaras’ display of bridal hair accessories. Once pampered and having picked a sparkling crown, brides can float through rails of bridal dresses, bridesmaids’ dresses, jewellery, shoes, veils and also displays of men’s hire provided by Gracie Bleu. (A Bride’s Heaven!)
We also had suppliers set up on our patio area for guests to taste pizza made from a wood fired pizza oven served from the back of a renovated Land Rover by Woodland Rover. Parked up next to the Land Rover was a vintage VW Campervan from Blue Pumpkin as an idea for a classic way to arrive on the special day.
During the experience evening we held a music showcase in the bar area. This particular evening we welcomed one of our in-house DJs, Krissi B, Party Band Green Hot Clover, Pianist Liz Hendry and also Didsbury String Quartet provided some peaceful instrumental music. A fantastic assortment of music styles to enjoy whilst having a drink and exploring two of our four civil ceremony areas which we had set up to view.
In Steele’s Barn, Barretts Event Catering had a stand set up and next to them Vanilla in Allseasons provided yummy bowl food for guests to try. The table displays looked as fantastic as ever following themes such as ‘Rio’, ‘Black and White’, ‘Ivory and Gold’ and a popular choice at the moment, ‘Rustic’. Qube Events and Productions and Verdure provided venue dressing items for the event with Whitehouse Crockery providing the table crockery and I Do Stationery provided name cards and table names.
Across in The Old Stableyard we had another selection of suppliers for our couples to meet including Marry Me Films Videography, Best Man Ltd with a selection of example suits for groomsmen, The Pamper Van, Madrenaline Activity Centre (which is located just up the road from the venue, a fantastic place to hold stag and hen parties), For Goodness Cake provided cake examples and cupcakes for our guests to take away with them (we saw many grinning faces in this area!) and also Kyle Hassall Photography who took the photos for the event.
The whole evening was another great success and it was lovely to see all of our couples again and look forward to inviting them back
