As always, our Autumn Experience Event was a magical, showstopping day!
As part of the booking experience here at Heaton House Farm, we host exclusive Experience Events every 6 months. At this event, we invite all our booked couples, along with a handful of our recommended suppliers, back to the venue. It is a great opportunity to return and bring along their nearest and dearest, to showcase the beautiful venue they are getting married at and get some inspiration for their special day.
Our experienced and friendly team of Coordinators were on hand to help and answer any questions that anyone may have had as they were walking around, whilst enjoying some delicious food and drinks from our onsite caterers, Stable Yard Catering! But they weren’t the only ones dishing out the delicious food… we had Vitaliano’s serving up some mouth-watering ice cream and Cakes by Bethany tantalising those tastebuds with her incredible cake samples!
Other than the ceremony, of course, this is the most exciting part of every wedding day; the preparation! Anyone who headed over to our Pamper Room would have been greeted by the amazing Sarah Meredith who was demonstrating her fantastic hair and makeup skills on her model, Drew.
And they definitely wouldn’t have missed the BEAUTIFUL dresses that Gracie Bleu Bridal brought along. She brought some showstopping dresses!
Looking to accompany those beautiful dresses with jewellery? Not a problem as we had the talented Jacqueline Harold Designs showcasing her spectacular pieces.
On arrival at the venue, in our beautiful rustic Oak Barn, couples would have had the pleasure of meeting Staffordshire Registry Office and Calluna Ceremonies, who were on hand to answer all things ceremony-related, and more!
Ever considered having your dog at your ceremony? Well, our Experience Event was the ‘pur’fect day to consider it as guests will have had the delight of chatting to Di from That’s Pawfect, who can arrange for your best furry friend to be present at your ceremony, maybe as a ring bearer or to simply steal the spotlight for a couple of hours and be comfortable and safe at the same time.
Booked a Church ceremony? Signature Wedding Cars showcased their pristine vehicles in the courtyard to offer their services to take couples from home/the venue to the Church, then back to the venue to start celebrations!
Even if you have a civil ceremony booked, cars can be arranged to whisk our couples away for some desired time together and a couple of shots with the photographer.
Speaking of photographers, we had the fantastic, Cris Lowis and Kyle Hassall. How could anyone not spot them, they were floating around the venue getting photos throughout the day whilst showcasing their unique style of photography skills!
Well, we agree, having both photographs and a video to relive the special moments from your wedding day brings back all the feels! That’s why we invited Stefan from YSD Media along to show everyone his unique way of capturing those treasured moments, so you can watch them over and over again….and show them off to everyone of course!
Wedding Sounds DJ, The Beard Band and Mark The Piano Guy had guests busting moves on the dancefloor! And even our Event Coordinators were caught sneaking a cheeky dance move here and there! What an atmosphere they created in our bar area!
Whilst enjoying some music and wandering around the venue with ice cream in hand, couples had the chance to wander around the Oak Barn and Under the Night Sky where we had example ceremonies set-ups. How beautiful did they look?!
Verdure Floral Design lined the aisle for The Oak Barn with flowers and stunning tall structures that greet you at the end of the aisle, it truly felt like you had walked into a floral meadow. Move through to the dining room to find elegant table décor and more beautifully arranged fresh flowers!
Kole Events really went above and beyond with their dressing for the ceremony room, Under the Night Sky. Stunning colourful floral trees lined the aisle, with a very neon sign that awaited you behind the registrar’s table. The Top Table décor was not one to be missed; with colours that popped against our gorgeous twinkly backdrop!
The Added Extra brought along light-up letters, both white ones representing SYC & rustic Mr & Mr, the perfect addition to your dancefloor!
Now we all know that the most important part of your wedding day is taking those vows and making the commitment to each other…but a bit of fun and games never hurt anyone?!
We had Crazy 9 displaying their one-of-a-kind 9-hole golf course, perfect for those golf enthusiasts! Stealth Racer showcasing its incredible Formula 1 simulator and setting some healthy competition between our couples with their racing leaderboard!
Capturing those silly poses was Boothtube! Last but not least we had GB Fun Casino adding that Las Vegas flare to an incredible day!
We want to help our couples plan their special day from the obvious, all the way through to the finer details that they may not have thought about just yet!
A lot of our couples are just at the start of their wedding journey, so we had invited Inspired by Lisa to showcase her elegant work and help with those invitations and save the dates ideas.
For those couples starting to pull all their plans together, we had Just Add Chalk’s amazing seating plans, place cards and many more offerings to help with the signage inspiration!
We hope everyone had the most enjoyable day with us at our Autumn Experience Event, we certainly loved welcoming everyone back to the venue!
