If you don’t already know, we like to make sure that all our couples who arrange to get married at Heaton House Farm have an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
And that’s one of the reasons why all our booked couples who have a wedding day approaching are invited to our Experience Events.
It’s their chance to meet with some of our wonderful suppliers who’ll do everything they can to ensure the big wedding day is truly mesmerising. Their chance to see how their ceremony might look, or how their wedding breakfast could be themed. Their chance to have a wonderful time whilst planning all the details of that special date.
And our most recent Experience Event delivered all of this.
The look and feel of your wedding is a huge part of the planning, and our venue dressing suppliers certainly gave our couples plenty to think about.
As soon as you entered our Oak Beamed Barn, guests were treated to wonderful decorations provided by Green Earth Flowers, that tied in beautifully with the rustic style of our barn.
Then, as guests wandered into our Under The Night Sky ceremony area, they were mesmerised by the gorgeous arrangements that Venue Perfection had done – complete with pumpkins and candles to tie in with Halloween. The stunning trees, under the stars, were simply stunning.
And scattered throughout the venue were a wonderful array of neon signs and illuminated messages of love, provided by Love Lights The Way. The vintage bulbs dangling from the centre table proved to be very popular amongst our couples too, creating an intimate dining experience. They were set up by Lightech.
With all the wonderful decorations to take in, you could forgive our couples for getting a little thirsty and a little peckish.
Luckily, our Heaton House Events team were on hand to help our guests sample drinks for their big day, whilst our in-house catering team – Stable Yard Catering – was on hand to dish up samples of the delectable food that could feed guests during the wedding breakfast and into the night.
And for the final piece of the edible puzzle, For Goodness Cake had a big selection of wedding cakes to show off to prospective couples, whilst Vitalianos rode up with their amazing ice cream and chocolate bikes to give the bride and groom a taste of the treats they could share with their guests.
We wanted to make sure everyone was entertained throughout the whole experience event, so of course, we turned to our suppliers there too!
If our couples wanted some inspiration for live music for their big day, they were spoilt for choice. On the piano, Benjamin Clarke – The Wedding Pianist, serenaded us with a string of wonderful tunes. On the steel drums, the Pantonic All Stars Steel Orchestra showed guests how they would get the party started, whilst Jukebox Band rocked the room with plenty of hit songs.
Pat Mulligan DJ was also on hand to chat with guests about the hit mix of songs they’d like to get all their friends and family onto the dance floor.
And just in case music wasn’t your thing or you wanted some other forms of entertainment at your wedding, we had you covered there. GB Fun Casinos brought some demo tables to show how they could liven up your evening with some fun gambling, whilst Sam Fitton Magician was wowing couples with his amazing slight-of-hand and explosive tricks.
We try and think of every way possible to help our couples plan their big day, which is why our line-up of amazing suppliers didn’t stop there.
In case you hadn’t thought about transport to Heaton House Farm, Italian Job Mini Hire was there to inspire our couples with a stunning Mini-themed entrance.
If the groom had yet to think about outfits (the bride usually has her dress all sorted months in advance!), Best Man Hire had a wonderful array of attire to kit out all the groomsmen.
And if you wanted any special pieces of kit or unique entertainment sets – like rodeo bulls – Eventech were standing by to discuss all your wishes.
Finally, no wedding would be complete without a photographer to capture all those memories. Luckily, we had two amazing suppliers sharing their stunning shots to wow our couples – Bridgwood Wedding Photography and Chelsea Shoesmith Photography.
As ever – our latest Experience Event was truly spectacular.
