THE MORNING OF THE WEDDING
At 9am, Samantha and her bridesmaids arrived, bringing the perfect mix of excitement, anticipation and a few happy nerves. With hair and makeup by Sarah Meredith underway, everyone was in safe hands from the very beginning. Bucks Fizz was poured, laughter filled the room and memories were shared as everyone soaked up the excitement of the day ahead. Samantha’s smile and infectious energy said it all – she couldn’t wait to get married!
The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their black dresses, creating a striking contrast against Sam’s stunning bridal look.
Before long, it was time for Samantha to step into her wedding dress. With its elegant off-the-shoulder neckline, delicate detailing, flowing train and beautiful veil, she looked absolutely radiant. She was more than ready to walk down the aisle and marry Chris!
One of the most emotional moments of the morning soon followed as Samantha revealed her bridal look to her dad for the very first time. Overcome with pride, he was almost speechless as he saw his daughter in her wedding dress. It was such a special moment, perfectly capturing the emotion and excitement of the morning.
Meanwhile, Chris and his groomsmen were getting ready together, looking smart in their sleek black suits. With everyone looking the part, there was just one important thing left to check – the rings! Thankfully, the best man had remembered them, so one very important wedding-day job was ticked off the list.
OAK-BEAMED BEAUTY
The Oak Barn was transformed into the most beautiful winter setting, with elegant decor in soft creams and whites, silver chairs and a white aisle carpet creating a romantic atmosphere. A striking dark green backdrop, complete with a light-up sign reading All You Need Is Love, added a beautiful finishing touch, while lanterns, candles by Woodyatt Warner and floral arrangements by Black Eyed Susie lined the aisle. It was the perfect blend of winter elegance and rustic charm, complementing the character of the Oak Barn beautifully. Every detail came together to create a truly magical setting.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for. The bridesmaids made their way down the aisle before Samantha appeared, walking hand in hand with her dad. All eyes were on Samantha as she made her way towards Chris, ready to begin the next chapter of their lives together as singer Kate Grace performed some gorgeous live tracks! Their beautiful ceremony was filled with love and emotion, and before long, they were officially married!
With the vows exchanged and the celebrations underway, it was time to head outside for that all-important confetti shot. Surrounded by their favourite people, Sam and Chris celebrated their first moments as newlyweds in the best possible way.
With the formalities complete, the reception kicked off with some iconic group photographs, followed by plenty of time for everyone to catch up with old friends, share stories and make new memories. The atmosphere was full of happiness, with everyone coming together to celebrate Samantha and Chris.
Amid all the celebrations, the newlyweds managed to sneak away for some precious time together in the Water Gardens. Surrounded by beautiful winter colours and the peaceful Cheshire countryside, they captured some truly gorgeous moments as newlyweds.
The wonderful Lee Brown captured every moment so beautifully, from the emotional ceremony to the joyful celebrations, preserving all the details, colour and romance that made Sam and Chris’s winter wedding so special.
TIME TO DINE
The dining room looked absolutely sensational, with every decor detail thoughtfully brought together by Woodyatt Warner to carry the winter theme through to the celebrations. Blue lighting created a beautiful atmosphere, complemented by the ceremony backdrop, florals and little favours reading ‘Take a shot, we tied the knot‘ – a fun touch that set the tone for the evening ahead!
Samantha and Chris were truly the life and soul of the party, bringing their infectious energy to every moment. From iconic bridesmaid entrances to Mr and Mrs games, there was no shortage of laughter as everyone got involved. With Wayne Farrow Wedding Entertainer keeping the energy high, guests were soon raising shots and embracing the party atmosphere, with Samantha and Chris even sporting sunglasses as they celebrated with their favourite people. It was just the tonic for a dark January day, bringing plenty of colour, warmth and fun to the winter celebrations!
Before the party continued, everyone took their seats for the speeches. From the father of the bride to Chris himself and the best man, there was a wonderful mix of heartfelt words, funny stories and plenty of laughter – the perfect opportunity to celebrate the couple and share some special memories.
Everyone then enjoyed a delicious meal from Stable Yard Catering before Samantha and Chris cut their beautiful wedding cake, lovingly made by one of their talented friends. A personal touch that made the occasion even more meaningful, before everyone got ready to continue the celebrations well into the evening!
EVENING PARTY
By 7pm, the evening reception was in full swing, and what a celebration it was! Samantha and Chris took to the dancefloor for their first dance, surrounded by their family and friends, before the party really got going. It wasn’t long before everyone was up dancing, singing along and making the most of every moment.
Wedding Sounds kept the dancefloor packed from the very first song, with an incredible live saxophone set adding even more energy to the celebrations. Meanwhile, delicious evening food from Stableyard Catering kept everyone fuelled for a night of dancing. Inside the Wedding Barn, glowing orange lighting transformed the space into an electric party atmosphere, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. Light up Letters by The Added Extra made the whole room sparkle too!
Despite the winter rain, Sam and Chris weren’t going to let the weather stop them from capturing some gorgeous evening photographs. Armed with an umbrella, they headed outside with Lee Brown to make the most of the evening light and capture some beautiful newlywed moments. And as darkness fell, the sparklers came out, lighting up the night sky and creating the most magical final photographs.
The photobooth and magic mirror by Exclusive Event Hire was another highlight, giving guests the chance to capture plenty of fun memories throughout the evening. With a packed dancefloor, plenty of laughter and a group who certainly knew how to party, Sam and Chris’s wedding day came to a lively and unforgettable close – the perfect ending to a day filled with love, laughter and so many special moments.
