For Lindsey and Matthew, it was love at first sight, not just with each other but from the moment they first stepped into the venue, they instantly knew it was the perfect place to take the next step in becoming Husband and Wife.
“From the moment we started our tour around Heaton House Farm, we were in love with the venue and could do nothing but picture our special day being there”
They fell in love with every aspect of our venue, especially our beautiful indoor oak barn which perfectly matched a seamless blend between modern elegance and a timeless rustic ambience our couple had always wanted with ‘ a blank canvas to become whatever we wanted‘
THE MORNING BEFORE I DO’S
At 9 am the pamper room was perfectly set for Lindsey and her bridal party to unwind. As they sipped pre-wedding fizz to calm their nerves, Bridal Hair and Makeup of Cheshire worked her makeup magic and styling hair beautifully, bringing their pamper room dreams to life overlooking the stunning views.
Soon, it was time for Lindsey to get into her stunning dress from Emma Louise Bridal, complemented by the beautiful dusty pink-toned bridesmaids’ gowns. These made for gorgeous photos, expertly captured by Moon and Back Photography and Film as the radiant August sun beamed down. And with that it was time to soak up the last few moments before the ‘I Do’s’
Meanwhile, Matthew and his groomsmen were looking sharp in outfits from Mos Bros and eagerly awaited the ceremony, enjoying drinks on our North Lawn to kick those pre-ceremony nerves!
CLASSIC, ELEGANT AND SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL DECOR
Their ceremony took place in our beautifully decorated oak barn, with rustic charm enhanced by gorgeous bouquets by Blossoms Florist in white and pale tones enhancing the simple yet rustic theme with gold accents from the ceremony chairs. Oak beams adorned with fairy lights set a magical backdrop as Lindsey and Matthew exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
After signing the register, the newlyweds made their exit to a classic, Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (an Everlasting Love)”. Guests greeted the newlyweds with a shower of confetti followed by some unforgettable group shots with Moon and Back Photography and Film. Then… wow! What an unforgettable drinks reception! Guests enjoyed a unique “Pimp Your Gin” bar by Stableyard Catering, complemented by a refreshing treat from Vitaliano’s Ice Cream-perfect for the hot summer’s day. To top it off, garden games supplied Big Wow Events added to the fun, allowing guests to soak in the stunning countryside surroundings.
DINING IN STYLE
The dining room perfectly encapsulated a rustic yet simplistic charm, seamlessly blending with the themed décor. Soft summer hues of dusty pink, cream, and white set a dreamy ambiance, complemented by golden accents from the chairs, capturing the essence of the season.
The rustic theme continued with thoughtful details with wooden place names, hessian table runners, log risers, and charming jars of flowers by Blossoms Florist . The top table, adorned with floating candles, added an extra layer of elegance.
Following a delicious three-course meal by our incredible in-house caterers, Stableyard Catering, it was time to raise a toast to Mrs. and Mrs. Quirk! A limoncello shot during Best Man Tom’s speech made the moment even more special.
Just as our guests thought the surprises were over, The Undercover Waiters stole the show! Having helped serve the delicious wedding breakfast, they suddenly broke into song, with everyone up and on their feet having the most incredible time!
Then, the moment arrived to cut the most stunning cake, beautifully crafted by Sue for Goodness Cake!
Next, the newlyweds made their way to the north lawn, where unforgettable moments were captured with our iconic sycamore tree proudly towering in the backdrop, with the photographs being simply timeless.
ENTERTAINING EVENING RECEPTION
At 7 pm the evening reception truly came alive. The couple’s first dance was truly breathtaking and very emotional for many of our guests! It was a night of musical entertainment with Saxophonist Spencer Moran performing a truly unforgettable set of tunes with guests up on ready on the dancefloor. In contrast, Bands For Hire provided a soft acoustic duo to round off the simply incredible day. Then to fuel their guests on the dancefloor with music from DJ Nathan Fowell for the rest of the night, Stableyard Catering provided some delicious Yorkshire Pudding Wraps which went down a treat!
Lindsey and Matthew had the most incredible wedding day with us and we are so delighted to have received some lovely feedback from them on the best moments of the day!
Their top tip for couples planning their wedding day is to:
‘Make sure on the day, you take a moment to sit back and watch your guests and how much fun they are having!’
