Planning their dream wedding

For Bethany and Aaron, it was love at first sight, not just with each other but from the moment they first stepped into the venue, they instantly knew it was the perfect place to take the next step in becoming Husband and Wife.

Dreaming of an enchanting winter wedding, our decorated venue with Christmas trees and twinkling lights, offered the perfect setting for their December celebration.

What truly stole their hearts was the well thought out design with a seamless flow between each unique space and our incredible rustic bar!

‘The design and style of the venue was just perfect!

THE MORNING BEFORE I DO’S

At 9 am the pamper room was perfectly set for Bethany and her bridal party to unwind, relax, and enjoy. As they sipped pre-wedding fizz to calm their nerves, Ellie May Renshaw worked her makeup magic, and Halo Hair Derbyshire styled hair beautifully, bringing their pamper room dreams to life overlooking the beautiful wintry scenery.

Soon, it was time for Bethany to get into her stunning long-sleeved and laced dress from Ivory White complemented by the dark green bridesmaids’ dresses to match the rich wintry elegance of the theme. These made for gorgeous shots expertly captured by SMH Photography and with that it was time to soak up the last few moments before the ‘I Do’s’.

WINTER WONDERLAND DECOR

Their ceremony took place in our beautifully decorated oak barn, where rustic charm met winter elegance. Gorgeous bouquets in rich wintry shades of orange, red, and deep greens, accented with holly, perfectly complemented the simple yet rustic theme. Gold-accented ceremony chairs added a touch of warmth, while lanterns and candles created the perfect balance between understated elegance and festive magic. A stunning garland and matching wreaths adorned the registrar’s table, while log risers enhanced the rustic and cosy feeling as Bethany and Aaron exchanged vows, with beaming smiles, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

After signing the register, the newlyweds made their exit with a nod to the festive season ‘Everything’ by Michael Buble. Bethany and Aaron were greeted with a shower of confetti followed by some unforgettable group shots by SMH Photography. The drinks reception kicked off with lively entertainment, featuring Samantha Lloyd’s soulful guitar and backing tracks, setting the perfect atmosphere. Meanwhile, magician Paul Grundle captivated guests with his incredible illusions, adding a touch of wonder to the celebration. As guests sipped on their reception drinks and indulged in delicious canapés, the festive spirit could truly be felt all around.

DINING IN STYLE

The dining room was transformed into a true winter wonderland, seamlessly blending with the themed décor. A stunning mix of blue and green hues set the scene, with winter garland centerpieces, pinecones, fairy lights, and rustic log slices adding to the warm atmosphere. Gold and ivory accents, complemented by subtle hints of autumnal orange, added a pop of extra colour too. Our towering Christmas trees in the background added a magical touch, while hessian runners tied the rustic elegance together. With a unique table plan displayed on cricket bats and table names themed from The Lion King, every detail showcased personal touches, to make the wedding day perfect for Bethany and Aaron.

Following a delicious three-course meal by our incredible in-house caterers, Stableyard Catering, it was time to raise a toast to Mr and Mrs Wood, with plenty of emotional speeches and bucks fizz!

Then it was sweet treats all around… with the cutting of the wedding cake and a showstopping Doughnut Tower from Doughnotts!
