We might be in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire, but that doesn’t mean we’re in the middle of nowhere! We’re easy to get to.
You’ll find our venue right on the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire, just outside a little village called Rushton Spencer. It’s right in the middle of England, in the beautiful, quintessential English countryside. Although strictly speaking we’re in Staffordshire, we have dozens of couples celebrating with us each year who were looking for a rural venue in Cheshire to get married.
Couples choose Heaton House Farm for their special day from all across the UK – from Manchester and the North West, to the far reaches of Scotland and all the way down to London and The South. We’ve welcomed brides, grooms and guests from several different countries, and they all bring something unique to their wedding with us. We might be located in the Cheshire and Staffordshire countryside, but we’re easy to find. There are lots of different ways you can get to us – whether you’re driving, flying or coming by train.
You can find us just off the A523, which links Derby to Manchester City Centre. It means we are effortlessly connected to all major road networks. We’re situated midway between the M1 and M6, so your guests will easily be able to join you, from across the country. DO NOT USE THE POST CODE! There are a number of local bus routes too, with the closest bus stop just a 10 minute walk away.
Our closest train station is 15 minutes away in Macclesfield, which has regular trains in and out of Manchester, Birmingham and London. The journey time from London is just 1 hour 40 minutes by train, from Birmingham is 1 hour and from Manchester is only 25 minutes. We also have excellent connections with local taxi companies should you wish to be picked up from the station to arrive at Heaton House Farm.
Located just 45 minutes from Manchester Airport, which is an international hub, your wedding guests can fly in from afar to join you at Heaton House Farm for your special day. As well as Manchester, there are two other airports which are easily accessible. East Midlands Airport is located just over an hour away by road and Birmingham Airport is 1 hour 20 minutes from us. At Heaton House Farm, distance is not an issue.
