WHAT A NIGHT! It was an absolute privilege to host The Wedding Industry Awards for the North West! It was so wonderful to celebrate all the regional finalists in each category and watch the winners be crowned. The passion and creativity in the wedding industry never fail to amaze us!
Guests were welcomed into our stunning Oak Barn with stunning light-up letters by The Added Extra, greeted by TWIA founders Damien and Anna and treated to a reception drink of prosecco, Peroni, or a refreshing raspberry fruit cooler- setting the tone for an incredible evening ahead.
The night was made even more special by our venue and housekeeping team attending as guests. After all their hard work preparing the venue, it was so well deserved to see them dressed to the nines and enjoying a night off. Meanwhile, our events team wore many hats- serving reception drinks and overseeing the event before taking their seats, eagerly awaiting the award announcements.
As guests arrived, Uxebox Band provided fantastic live music, while GB Fun Casinos entertained with their Donkey Derby and Lightech created a show-stopping lighting display throughout the barns.
Behind the scenes, the Stable Yard Catering kitchen team were hard at work preparing an array of delicious canapés, including mini beef burgers, sweet ruby choux buns, lamb and fennel kofta, and beetroot-cured salmon. Served by our supervisors, the food showcased also the exceptional catering and service they are proud to offer.
With purple and blue lighting filling the Wedding Barn, excitement built as regional finalists gathered with spirits high and drinks flowing! Guests then took their seats in Steeles Dining Barn, which had been transformed into a stunning awards ceremony space with gold chairs and illuminated letters adding to the glitz and glamour of the evening.
One by one, the winners were announced, greeted by a wonderful tradition of clapping hands with the fellow finalists lining the outer rows. The joy in the room was electric-there were smiles, cheers, and truly heartfelt celebrations as regional winners were revealed.
A huge congratulations goes to our onsite caterers, Stable Yard Catering, who were announced REGIONAL WINNERS – Wedding Caterer of the Year for the second year running! Our entire team was overjoyed, and the photographs captured the moment perfectly as everyone went up together to celebrate.
Although Heaton House Farm didn’t take home the award this time, being nominated as a regional finalist is a huge achievement. We are incredibly grateful to our amazing team and to our wonderful couples who voted for us- your support truly means the world.
Following the awards, regional winners were interviewed, sharing what their wins meant to them, before the celebrations continued with dancing, laughter, and industry-wide celebrations. It was a joy to meet so many talented wedding professionals and celebrate everything we do best-weddings.
