Our wonderful team recently took a well-deserved break to unwind and enjoy our much-anticipated annual staff night. The excitement was contagious as everyone gathered, eager to discover what surprises were in store for the evening. 🤩
The night kicked off with a thrilling scavenger hunt that had us splitting into teams, jumping into cars with designated drivers, and setting off on an adventure around the local area. Armed with clipboards and a series of cryptic clues, the competition was on! 🔥 From tracking down oak leaves and uncovering century-old items to identifying local landmarks, the race was both fierce and friendly, with everyone striving to rack up those all-important points. 🌲 🍂 🏢
Adding to the excitement was the best photo competition 📷, which unleashed a wave of creativity across all teams. With extra points at stake, participants pulled out all the stops, with some even dressing up for the occasion. The result? A gallery of hilarious and memorable entries that had everyone in stitches. 😆
Halfway around the course at The Knot Inn, Mick and Sarah were on hand to offer bottles of water as well as plenty of extra encouragement to spur our teams even further!
After the hunt, we reconvened at the venue for a well-deserved feast, expertly prepared by our talented team of chefs at Stableyard Catering. A big shoutout to them for organizing such a delicious spread! 😋 🍽️ As we enjoyed our meal, the results of the scavenger hunt were being meticulously tallied.
The evening continued with a speech from Mick, Margaret and Sarah to look back at the past year’s achievements, including heartfelt celebrations of long-serving team members. It was a touching moment, reminding us of all of the strong bonds we’ve built together, especially between Heaton House Farm, Stableyard Catering and The Knot Inn over the years. 💙
And then, the moment everyone had been waiting for the announcement of the scavenger hunt winners! 🗳️ The photo compilation played on the big screen, providing endless entertainment, with one hilarious video taking home the title of best team picture! 😊
Finally, the victorious team was crowned, and they basked in their well-earned glory. 🥇🤩 The rest of the night was wrapped up with drinks, lots of laughter, and plenty of catching up with colleagues outside of working together. 🍻
