With exclusive invites sent out to our excited couples and recommended suppliers eager to meet them, our dedicated team was ready and organised to ensure that stepping into our Spring Experience Event of 2025 was a magical experience —and we can truly say it was!
Each year, we host two experience events, exclusively for our couples who have their wedding booked with us. This gives them a chance to meet potential suppliers for their big day, catch up with their nearest and dearest, or inspire them with ideas for their special day as they explore our venue once more.
A shoutout to our wonderful team who worked tirelessly to organise this event, welcoming over 450 guests!

On arrival into our beautiful rustic oak barn, our wonderful coordinators were ready and waiting at the front desk to welcome every one of our guests, as well as answering questions regarding their upcoming wedding day! The wonderful Staffordshire Registrars and Calluna Ceremonies were on hand to answer questions about all things ceremony-related.
That’s Pawfect, were showcasing all the options for our couple’s four-legged friends on their special day.
Sunshine and Spring Lambs
With the radiant sun beaming over our beautiful venue, there was no better way to enjoy the spring weather than by spending time with our adorable new lambs down on the farm. They were undoubtedly the highlight of the event, delighting in all the attention from our guests, alongside Farmer Mick and Sarah. Even our event coordinators couldn’t resist posing for a photo while feeding the lovely lambs- the perfect shot capturing the unforgettable moments working at a barn wedding venue!
Catering, Cake, and Coned Ice Cream
When organising a wedding day, food is always one of the top priorities. Our wonderful catering supervisors and one of our chefs, Kenny from our onsite catering company, Stableyard Catering, was on hand to answer any queries about menus, whether it be about pre-wedding nibbles, drinks packages, the wedding breakfast, or evening food options. Our display of wonderful new cocktail canapes and other drinks enticed our couples to choose them for their special day, for that touch of something a little different! An accompanying slideshow of all our incredible food, as well as sneak peeks of the 2026 menus, really did get our couples talking!
For those with a sweet tooth, we had For Goodness Cake, who brought along a tasty selection of cake flavours and styles, as well as Dalton’s Dairy for a refreshing treat! Happy Cow Chocolate Company also provided some delicious samples of their handmade chocolate, perfect for wedding favours or as an extra treat!
Bridal Beauty
Our brides had the chance to experience the perfect vision of their wedding morning in our stunning pamper room, which overlooks the beautiful countryside, complete with hair and makeup inspiration from the talented teams at Dollface and Wildflower Hair Company
Picturesque photography and videography
To capture those all-important moments of a lifetime, photographers Jon Thorne (who beautifully captured the special moments at our event) and Adam Lowndes along with videographer YSD Media displaying some of their best work for couples to gain inspiration for their picture-perfect shots A shoutout also goes to Stefan for the incredible video of our event as seen on social media!
Dressing up your wedding venue
With endless theming options when it comes to wedding décor, we welcomed Quirky Florals with their stunning flowers and Treetop Events as a perfect opportunity for our couples to see the venue dressed up in different styles.
Lighting up the rooms were light-up letters from The Added Extra, dazzling, sparkling and simply stunning!
Stunning Stationery
Stationery ideas were flowing for our couples with beautiful designs from Inspired by Lisa and wedding signage and table stationery by Just Add Chalk, along with some stunning personalised wooden stationery options.
Attire tailored to you
For those still searching for the perfect outfit, local supplier Gracie Bleu Bridal displayed a pop-up bridal boutique showcasing various styles alongside Best Man with their stylish suit displays for the groom and groomsmen to browse.
Kinderton Hats also joined us with an array of colours and styles of fascinating fascinators and hats, which lots of guests were intrigued to try on!
Entertainment for all
Our guests were well and truly entertained with Boothtube with an entertaining photobooth with props to go along, Sam Fitton worked his magic on our guests and Crazy 9 displayed one of their incredible crazy golf courses too! If having fun is on your wedding checklist then excellent entertainment is a must!
Memorable Music
Music is another key element to a wedding day, and with so many options, it can be hard to choose! Guests enjoyed a selection of music styles, including the incredible pianist Liz Hendry and upbeat and lively evening party band Midnight Cats.
