Sammy and Dan’s stunning New Year’s Eve Wedding!

PLANNING THEIR DREAM WEDDING

For Sammy and Dan, a New Year’s Eve wedding was their dream and every moment of the day was truly magical from start to finish.

THE MORNING BEFORE I DO’S

At 9am, the pamper room was perfectly set for Sammy and her bridal party to unwind, relax, and enjoy the morning. With glasses of Bucks Fizz in hand to ease any pre-wedding nerves, they laughed together as the makeup and hair team worked their magic. The December morning felt nostalgic and magical, filled with shared memories that made the moment even more special as they prepared to welcome both a newly married couple and the new year ahead. One of the bridesmaids popped out to add the final finishing touches to the wedding cake she had lovingly made.

The bridesmaids wore stunning champagne-coloured dresses- an elegant and timeless choice. Sammy looked breathtaking in her sleeveless gown with delicate floral detailing, paired with a classic-shaped veil and a white and cream bouquet from EJB Floristry. After some emotional reveals, the excitement in the room grew as they prepared to walk down the aisle!

The suits were chosen to complement the overall theme, with Dan and his groomsmen looking incredibly sleek in their classic black-and-white attire. With everything falling beautifully into place, the morning became a moment to savour- those final quiet minutes before the all-important ‘I do’s.’

SIMPLISTIC AND TIMELESS ELEGANCE

Our rustic Oak Barn was transformed into a true winter wonderland. Soft candlelight, white chair sashes, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, a white aisle carpet, and a stunning moongate arch styled by Arch in a Box adorned with white and cream florals, came together to create the most magical setting. The atmosphere was made even more enchanting by Matthew Turner, who played live acoustic guitar as the bridal party made their entrance- his music adding a nostalgic charm that carried the festivities beautifully. The gold chairs completed the look to perfection.

Sammy walked down the aisle after her bridesmaids, accompanied by both her father and stepfather-a moment full of emotion and meaning.

After signing the register, Sammy and Dan made their joyful exit, greeted by a shower of confetti- an unforgettable moment captured perfectly by SMH Photography. Guests enjoyed their celebratory drinks, soaking in the magic of the day after witnessing the newlyweds say their heartfelt ‘I do.’ Meanwhile, the happy couple took a trip down to our picturesque water gardens, taking a few moments together with their photographer to capture some memories! Back at the drinks reception, magic from Pete Turner truly got the party started and entertained guests!

DINING IN STYLE

The dining room encompassed a true winter wonderland- warm, festive, and glowing with candlelight. Floating candles flickered above, complemented by our beautiful Christmas tree and soft blue lighting, creating a magical atmosphere. Personalised Christmas crackers filled with sweets and Tequila Rose, festive foliage, and gold-rimmed charger plates adorned each place setting, while tall pillar centrepieces with matching florals completed the elegant look, including a specially styled sweetheart table.

As guests dined, Christmas songs played softly in the background, adding a cosy, family-filled feeling to the room. The showstopping Christmas tree stood proudly at the front, a highlight of the season and a favourite for many of the guests, who were enchanted by the magical setting. Following the meal, it was time for the cutting of the cake- a perfect moment to continue the celebrations.

A delicious sharing roast was served by the brilliant team at Stableyard Catering. Once the plates were cleared, it was time to raise a glass to the newlyweds, Sammy and Dan. Emotional, heartfelt, and wonderfully entertaining speeches- from Sammy’s stepdad, from Dan himself and from the best man-filled the room. They moved effortlessly between laughter and happy tears, sharing memories that everyone will cherish for years to come.

ENTERTAINING EVENING RECEPTION

By 7 PM, the evening reception was in full swing. Sammy and Dan shared their first dance- a stunning, heartfelt moment that moved many to tears, complete with a beautiful photo opportunity in front of their glowing neon sign.

The entertainment was unforgettable. Dr Bruff and The Push, along with DJ Love Music Events, delivered incredible sets that got everyone up on their feet. The celebrations carried on long into the night, building excitement for the upcoming New Year countdown. With only a few hours left of the year, every moment was electric and unforgettable!

The dancefloor was packed all evening, with guests fuelled by delicious burgers and unstoppable energy. Outside, the couple shared the most incredible champagne spray shots, surrounded by laughter and excitement. As midnight approached, sparklers lit up the night, marking the perfect start to the new year and the most incredible journey of marriage.
