PLANNING THEIR DREAM WEDDING

For Maisie and George, a Christmas wedding was their dream and every moment of the day was truly magical from start to finish.

THE MORNING BEFORE I DO’S

At 9am, the pamper room was perfectly set for Maisie and her bridal party to unwind, relax and enjoy the morning. With glasses of Bucks Fizz in hand to ease any pre-wedding nerves, they laughed together as the makeup and hair team worked their magic. The cold December morning felt nostalgic and magical-just a few days before Christmas, the girls shared memories that made the atmosphere even more special.

The bridesmaids wore pale green, an amazing colour choice that contrasted beautifully with the winter theme, making for some truly stunning photographs. Maisie’s dress was breathtaking with elegant floral detailing, perfectly suited to a winter wedding, and a subtle pop of purple in the sleeves that added a unique touch of charm and personality.

The suits were chosen to complement the theme, with George and his groomsmen looking incredibly sleek in their classic black-and-white attire. With everything falling into place, the morning became a moment to savour- those final quiet minutes before the all-important ‘I do’s.’

Meanwhile, George and his groomsmen looked sharp and ready, eagerly awaiting the ceremony and the unforgettable moment when Maisie would walk down the aisle.

SIMPLISTIC AND TIMELESS ELEGANCE

Our rustic Oak Barn was transformed into a true winter wonderland. The venue’s festive décor- twinkling Christmas fairy lights, beautifully decorated trees, gold chairs, and soft white and cream florals- created an elegant, magical setting. The delicate chair sashes with gold accents tied everything together perfectly, capturing the beauty of a winter celebration. Kole Events truly did a remarkable job!

As the doors opened, all eyes turned to Maisie as she walked down the aisle before their closest family and friends. It was simply breathtaking. Many happy tears were shed as she made her way towards George, ready to begin their forever together. Ali Weddings provided the most beautiful live music, creating the perfect atmosphere as family and friends gathered to witness the couple tie the knot.

After signing the register, Maisie and George made their joyful exit, greeted by a shower of confetti- an unforgettable moment captured perfectly by SMH Photography. Guests then enjoyed their reception drinks, soaking in the magic of the day after watching the newlyweds say their heartfelt ‘I do.’

DINING IN STYLE

The dining room looked simply stunning- warm, festive and glowing with candlelight. Soft blue lights and beautifully decorated Christmas trees framed the space, while the oval top table was adorned with elegant candlesticks, floating candles, with cream and white florals by Kole Events. Cylinder vases filled with fresh foliage added a natural, wintery touch that brought the whole room to life.

As guests dined, Christmas songs played softly in the background, creating a cosy, family-filled atmosphere. Our showstopping Christmas tree stood proudly in front of the room- a highlight of the season and a favourite for many of our guests, who were truly delighted by the magical setting.

Each guest enjoyed ‘his and hers’ favourite sweets as delightful wedding favours, adding a personal and nostalgic touch to the evening.

A delicious menu followed was served by the brilliant team at Stableyard Catering. Once the plates were cleared, it was time to raise a glass to the newlyweds, Maisie and George. Emotional, heartfelt, and wonderfully entertaining speeches- from Maisie’s dad, from George himself and from the best man-filled the room. They moved effortlessly between laughter and happy tears, sharing memories that everyone will cherish for years to come.

ENTERTAINING EVENING RECEPTION

By 7 PM, the evening reception was in full swing. Maisie and George shared their first dance- a stunning, heartfelt moment that moved many to tears. The glowing love letters lit up the night, adding a touch of magic to the celebration.

Wedding Sounds took over the dancefloor with some incredible sets, getting everyone up and dancing as the celebrations continued long into the night. Just a few days before Christmas, the festive spirit carried through every moment, creating an atmosphere of pure joy. The dancefloor was full all evening with guests fuelled by fish and chips too!

Maisie and George had the most incredible wedding day with us, and we were absolutely delighted to receive such lovely feedback from them about their favourite moments of the day!
