Heading back to the roots of a Traditional Christmas 2024!

by Events • December 19, 2024 • Christmas Party

This year, our Christmas party guests took a nostalgic trip down memory lane back to the roots of a traditional Christmas at Heaton House Farm! And we can safely say that those three dark December nights were lit up spectacularly and captured perfectly by the wonderful SMH Photography.

ALLURING ARRIVAL

At 7 pm, guests were enchanted as they approached the venue, greeted by the mesmerising sight of shimmering snowflakes and a reindeer’s sleigh soaring into the night sky by Lightech. Passing through the striking iron gates, they stepped into a nostalgic wonderland where the scent of exquisitely decorated Christmas trees filled the air from Kole Events and Venue Perfection. Inside, red and green lights cast a festive glow onto the oak beams, beautifully adorned with foliage, berries, and candy canes by Flossies perfectly complemented by stunning wreaths from Quirky Flowers.

As arrival drinks were sipped, guests admired the intricate green garland with sparkling baubles from Flossie’s. Striking light-up letters spelling NOEL, twinkling Christmas trees and a vibrant neon green ‘Ho Ho Ho’ backdrop, courtesy of Love Lights the Way, created a picture-perfect entrance. Standing tall and regal, our Toy Soldiers from Stage Invaders completed the enchanting scene, setting the tone for a magical evening ahead.

DIVINE DECORATION

As the curtains drew back to reveal the dining room, guests were amazed by the breathtaking décor, evoking a sense of timeless nostalgia. The room glowed with rich tones of green and red, enhanced by elegant golden chairs and accents. Each table, uniquely adorned with centrepieces, featured frosted trees, holly, berries and stunning foliage creating a heartwarming atmosphere that was festive, cosy and simply perfect. Standing tall, our magnificent Christmas trees took centre stage, transforming the space into a festive wonderland. Glittering baubles hung gracefully from the ceiling, adding a touch of magic to the scene. Each table was beautifully set with glowing candles and festive details, inviting guests to take their seats, surrounded by their loved ones. Thank you our fantastic suppliers for providing the most beautiful decoration; Kole Events, Flossie’s, Venue Perfection, Verdure Designs, Quirky Flowers, Willow & Fig and The Linen Company

ENTICING ENTERTAINMENT

Our mid-dinner entertainment wowed our guests with an incredible dance routine by Stage Invaders, joined by fellow toy soldiers at the end which truly was all we wanted for Christmas- bringing festive cheer and spirit all around! Olivia Robinson and Rich Hazelwood gathered around our handcrafted wooden sleigh singing a mix of traditional, festive and jazz & swing with a roaring log fire, lanterns and gifts surrounding them to entertain our guests (our sleigh truly was a highlight as an amazing photo opportunity for all).

To capture further unforgettable memories, That Prop Guy provided a very popular photo booth and some fabulous props reminiscent of many Christmases gone by. Competitive spirits soared with our Bucking Bronco by L4 Leisure as our guests battled against each other!

Inspired by a traditional Christmas, the delicious three-course menu served by Stableyard Catering didn’t disappoint. Our ravenous party guests were blown away and have given fantastic feedback about the food!

DAZZLING DANCE FLOOR

It was then time for our party guests to put on their best dancing shoes, and be guided by our wonderful DJ and host Tom Finkill – the boys vs girls competition was a top favourite moment! The talented band The Midnight Cats provided a live set with a great mix of modern and classic tunes which got our guests going all out on the dancefloor.

It is true time flies when you are having fun so before we knew it, carriages arrived to transport all our glamorous guests back to reality after the most sensational trip down memory lane to a traditional Christmas. Our team definitely enjoyed themselves and got into the festive spirit too!
