PLANNING THEIR DREAM WEDDING

Becky and Jimmy’s February winter wedding was quirky and cool with personalised DIY details that made every part of the day feel uniquely theirs!

‘We just wanted to say thank you. We both had such a great day, as did our guests, and everyone at Heaton House Farm had a massive part in that. Thank you so much for starting our married life in such a wonderful way!’

THE MORNING BEFORE THE I DO’S

By 9am, the pamper room was perfectly prepped for Becky and her bridal party to slow down, switch off and soak up the excitement of the morning. Glasses of fizz were poured to calm any pre-wedding nerves, laughter filled the room and Sarah Meredith worked her magic with hair and makeup. Despite the rainy start, a rainbow appeared, the perfect symbol of good luck and new beginnings.

The bridesmaids wore electric blue- a bold, quirky choice that perfectly reflected the couple’s cool sense of style while nodding to the winter season.

Becky looked breathtaking in her sleeveless gown, adorned with delicate mesh and subtle sparkles. She paired the look with a striking bouquet of blue, green, cream, and yellow blooms by Flower Emporium finished with her veil. After a few emotional reveals, excitement in the room grew as the moment to walk down the aisle edged closer.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and his groomsmen completed the look in navy blue suits, chosen to complement the overall theme. With everything falling into place, the morning became one to truly savour: those final, quiet moments before the all-important I do’s.

SIMPLISTIC AND TIMELESS ELEGANCE

The ceremony space was styled simply, with silver chairs finished with a pop of blue taken from Becky’s bouquet, understated but intentional. The couple’s personality shone through in the finer details, from the thoughtfully designed order of service and welcoming signage, graphic t-shirt displays to model instruments on the ceremony table.

Then it was time for Becky to walk down the aisle after her bridesmaids, proudly accompanied by her father.

After signing the register, Becky and Jimmy made their joyful exit through a shower of confetti – an unforgettable moment beautifully captured by SMH Photography. Guests then enjoyed celebratory drinks, soaking up the magic of having witnessed the couple’s heartfelt I do’s.

While guests mingled, Becky and Jimmy escaped to the for a few quiet moments with their photographer to get some beautiful photos on our North Lawn and in front of our beautiful rustic barn doors before returning for group shots. Becky layered up with a fluffy jacket, while both newlyweds added their own statement touch by both modelling a Champion WWE Title belt – a fun nod to their shared love of wrestling. Reception drinks reflected the couple’s favourites, with Port Charlotte Whisky and Hadouken Super Session served to guests, rounding off the celebration in a way that felt completely them.

DINING IN STYLE

The reception space continued the couple’s DIY, stripped-back style, with silver chairs, electric blue lighting and a twinkling backdrop setting the scene. While the overall look was simple, it was the table décor that truly took centre stage.

Wine bottles filled with LED candles, spirit bottles wrapped in fairy lights, and vinyl records added layers of character to each table. Table names symbolised places special to Becky and Jimmy, alongside quirky “access all areas” passes that gave the celebration the feel of their very own wedding festival- inspired by the festivals they’ve loved together.

The wedding cake by Cakes by Bethany echoed the theme perfectly: a classic white design finished with an electric blue drip, guarded by WWE figures for an unmistakably personal touch.

A delicious three-course meal was served by the brilliant team at Stableyard Catering, bringing everyone together around the table. Once plates were cleared, it was time to raise a glass to the newlyweds. Emotional, heartfelt, and wonderfully entertaining speeches from Becky’s dad, Jimmy himself, and the best man had the room moving effortlessly between laughter and happy tears – memories that will be treasured for years to come.

ENTERTAINING EVENING RECEPTION

By 7pm, the evening reception was in full swing. Becky and Jimmy shared an emotional first dance before the celebrations ramped up, complete with a festival and WWE-themed photo opportunity featuring a life-sized cardboard cut-out of John Cena! With Adam Towers Music keeping the dancefloor buzzing by playing all the hits, guests danced late into the evening – fuelled by baps, chips, and plenty of wedding cake.

Becky and Jimmy had the most incredible wedding day with us, and we were absolutely delighted to receive such lovely feedback from them about their favourite moments of the day.
