Our Autumn Experience Evening – 2017

by sarah • November 7, 2017 • Experience Event

According to our couples, our experience evenings are one of the most useful and rewarding parts of a wedding planning at Heaton House Farm.

In fact, many say they’d be lost without them, as they really help them to decide and finalise the arrangements for their big day.

Each experience event we hold is unique and exclusive – it’s only open to couples who have booked a wedding with us and are starting to plan all their arrangements. Of course, their friends and family are welcome too!

In October, we opened our doors for special afternoon event, welcoming over 400 guests to give them inspiration on how they might transform our venue for their own wedding in the near future.

Barns dressed to perfection

After registering with us in the Entrance Barn, guests could turn their attention to the stunning decorations provided by Green Earth. Entitled ‘Autumn Leaves’, it brought all the colours of the season indoors and was absolutely beautiful.

Heading through into the Wedding Barn, Venue Perfection had put their own stamp on our night sky set-up. They called it ‘Glamorous’, and with the star lights twinkling down and illuminating the flowers and décor they’d chosen, that’s exactly what it was.

And to make the sure the mood was appropriately celebratory, a musical showcase in the Wedding Barn included the wonderful pianist Liz Hendry, the entertaining Jukebox Band, and the foot-tapping DJ Krissi B!

Sampling delights from our suppliers

Both Venue Perfection and Green Earth were on hand in the Steeles Barn to chat to new couples, where they were showing off some of their ideas for table decorations – each set up in different styles and themes!

Alongside them, we had a host of other suppliers who were happily helping our newly-engaged girls and guys to plan their perfect day. They included:

And to make sure everyone has the best champagne to toast the newly-married couple – along with a delicious selection of wines during the wedding breakfast – we’d set up a special wine station, where couples could taste and choose their wine selection – and decide upon any special reception drinks.

It was – as it always is – a wonderful afternoon, and a brilliant way to help our couples ensure they have everything they need for their big day.

Find out when our next experience evening is, or if you’ve not yet booked a wedding with us, come and visit us at one of our open days (or arrange a private tour)!
